The GMAT exam, a standardized assessment delivered in English, helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. The B-Schools use the test as one of the yardsticks for predicting academic success in MBA programs or other graduate management programs. GMAT, top colleges in the UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore and all colleges in the USA require a decent GMAT score.
The GMAT PREP Exam consists of four main parts: the Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, the Quantitative section, and the Verbal section. The AWA consists of an argument-based essay and the Integrated Reasoning section tests the student’s ability to assimilate information from various graphs and data. The Quantitative Section of the GMAT contains 36 multiple-choice questions of two types—Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving. Students are allowed a maximum of 65 minutes to complete the entire section. The Verbal Section contains 31 multiple-choice questions of three types—Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction. Students are allowed a maximum of 62 minutes to complete the entire section.
The remaining two sections (Quantitative and Verbal) consist of multiple-choice questions delivered in a computer-adaptive format. Questions in these sections are dynamically selected as the student takes the test; the multiple-choice questions will adjust to the student’s ability level, and every student’s test will be unique. For each multiple-choice section of the GMAT exam, there is a large pool of potential questions ranging from a low to a high level of difficulty. In a computer-adaptive test, only one question at a time is presented. Because the computer scores each question before selecting the next one, the student may not skip, return to, or change his responses to previous questions. If the student answers a question incorrectly by mistake or correctly by randomly guessing, the answers to subsequent questions will lead the student back to questions that are at the appropriate level of difficulty for the student. Every student has to answer a mixture of questions from all levels of difficulty. The total GMAT score is 800. 400 marks for the Verbal and Quantitative scores each. The scores are valid for a period of 5 years.
To choose the best GMAT coaching in the “Industrial Hub “- Faridabad, one should examine various criteria like
- Study material should be of the highest quality and cover significant and relevant topics in the curriculum. The understanding of students entirely depends on the resources allocated to them.
- Qualified teachers and faculty A student’s grasping abilities and growth entirely depend on how well they are taught. Teachers should be able to simplify the most complex subjects and be able to explain them clearly to students. The support of faculty and teachers is of paramount importance
- Individual attention– In a class filled with students, they should be able to cope with the pace of studies and be in a position to clear their doubts before moving forward. Providing individual attention to students is very critical for their development. The teacher must assess the student’s weak areas and give more emphasis to them. Only then will the child be able to master those topics.
- Q and A sessions– These should be held on a regular basis for students to share their queries openly. So, even others can learn more and get their doubts cleared if they have them as well. This can be an interactive learning session and can aid in problem-solving for students.
- Mock Exams – These are meant for you to prepare yourself for the real exams. They give you an idea of how the questions will be assigned to you, what your speed is like and where you stand in terms of your calibre. Once you assess yourself, you can focus on the areas that you did not do well in and do better in the exams.
- Fee Structure – Many students come from low-income backgrounds or economically disadvantaged sections of society and cannot afford a high fee. Many institutes offer scholarships as well. Some give you the option to pay in instalments. According to what your budget allows, you can make your decision.
