Research TeamBy Research Team5 Mins Read

PPSC is known as the Punjab Public Service Commission. It is the highest constitutional body and a department of the Punjabi government. In addition to holding competitive tests, it is in charge of promoting and transferring people from one service to another.

Exam Pattern for PPSC

Three phases make up the PPSC State Service Exam. Candidates who pass the first level are deemed qualified for the second. Candidates who pass the second phase of the PPSC are regarded as qualified for the third step. Candidates should become familiar with the exam pattern so they can better prepare for the test. The three parts of the PPSC test are listed below:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. The Main Exam
  3. And the Interview Round

Advice on how to get ready for the PPSC exam

1. Create a plan and stick to it

Start by keeping track of the time left until the exam. Consider your time constraints when planning your research. You must make plans based on the amount of time allotted for the exam.

Create daily schedules for all of your subjects. List the required and optional subjects to prepare. Take note of the proportion of each subject’s marks on the paper. From the perspective of mark percentage, every paper pattern differs.

2. Dedicate Yourself

Your undivided attention must be given to their preparation. It’s not like a school test. Only 5 to 10% of the exam’s questions were repeated. To compete, you must expand your knowledge. Make an atmosphere where you can study quietly and peacefully. Give yourself at least three to four hours every day, divided into preparation times.

3. Read and Study Previous Papers

Reading and studying previous papers is a highly successful strategy for the PPSC test or any other exam. You must review the Past Papers, in particular, to prepare for the PPSC. You will get knowledge of the syllabus and paper format. You will learn much more about the exam you will be taking if you study every past paper from every aspect thoroughly.

4. Follow the Toppers

Get to know the selected candidates in person or watch their videos on YouTube. They will share their knowledge and experience with you, and it will encourage you.

5. Gain knowledge through Online Prep Websites:

Online websites are a reliable source for any paper-related information. There are practice tests and MCQ-style questions available. Additionally, you may obtain PPSC as well as other job-related documents from website.

8. Download mobile applications for exam prep:

You can download apps for studying and you can start studying from the app and begin learning whenever you have free time. This is like waiting for someone or riding the bus.

9. Purchase books and past exams.

Dogar, Carvana, as well as Ilmi, are some recommended publishers. From the marketplace, you can purchase a soft copy or a hard copy. Studying consistently will benefit you.

10. Recognize not Study

Make an effort to understand questions and issues. It will promote critical thinking. If you fully understand the question, even if the examiner modifies it, you may respond. If you memorize the topic and the inspector asks you indirectly from a different perspective, you won’t be able to provide an accurate response. It is also useful for interviews.
