WHAT IS NEET EXAM?
The official name of NEET is the National Eligibility and Entrance Test, which is held in India to offer admission to medical UG seats. NEET 2022 will be administered by pen and paper by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc, and AH seats, the NEET exam will be held. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) established a single entrance examination, NEET, to improve medical and dental education in India.
The NEET exam’s main goal is to speed up the admissions process for MBBS and BDS programmes. As a result, the NEET exam was created to replace a number of medical examinations across the country, including the AIPMT. Because medical students previously had to fill out various forms for diverse clinical entrance exams in India, CBSE and the Medical Council of India (MCI) introduced NEET.
