Legal Reasoning for CLAT 2022

Books & Study Guides for the CLAT Exam for the Postgraduate (PG) Law Program in 2022

The Postgraduate (PG) Law program’s CLAT exam is a 2-hour test with 120 questions. The exam paper will include questions based on passages from original legal sources. The final score is reduced by 0.25 points for each wrong response.

Constitutional law, tort law, tort law, family law, criminal law, property law, company law, PIL, tax law, jurisprudence, administrative law, environmental legislation, labor & industrial law, and tort law are all topics covered in the PG-CLAT exam. To qualify for the PG-CLAT exam, candidates may consult the texts included in the law undergraduate curriculum.

Candidates taking the PG-CLAT exam should review all significant court decisions, statutes, and other legal materials in addition to the books used in undergraduate programs. They should try to identify the various topics covered in these decisions and brush up on their knowledge of key constitutional and statutory provisions. Candidates who are knowledgeable about previous court rulings and legislative changes about certain constitutional and statutory requirements would benefit.

CLAT Counselling 

Candidates are shortlisted for the 18 NLUs’ counseling rounds if they achieve the necessary CLAT 2023 cut-off scores. Based on the CLAT 2023 results, including the candidate’s rank, score, etc., a merit list will be created. Candidates that have been selected to participate in counseling sessions must adhere to the steps listed below:

After paying the cost, candidates must visit the designated NLU to take part in the counseling rounds. Applicants can secure the allotted seats within the given time frame. CLAT requires shortlisted candidates to pay the counseling fee at the CLAT office.

Expected CLAT Cut off

Dates for CLAT 2023 Counseling
