Key features required in NEET coaching centres:
Establishment
A coaching centre with loads of experience only can give good guidance to its students for this toughest entrance exam. A well-established centre having a work span of about 15 to 20 years or more can be a reliable choice for any student. With more years comes the ability to judge the students based on their potentials and qualities. An older, well known and well established coaching is therefore a much preferred choice for the NEET examination.
Batch size
Medical coaching needs time and patience on the side of both teacher and student. A good interaction between students and the teachers is also necessary. All these are possible only if the batch size is limited. Batches of 25 to 30 students are preferable for NEET coaching. This will give the students ample time to groom and understand what is being taught and also interact with teachers freely without any hurry. Most of the centres do offer a batch size of 30 to 50 nowadays. This feature can be taken into consideration when selecting a coaching centre.
Teachers
The coaching centre is primarily dependent on the performance of its teachers. The teachers should possess good expertise, should be understanding and continuously updated to give quality lessons to the students. Teachers from a Medical background are of choice and should be considered as the first preference provided they have a good knack of teaching.
Study Material
Study material should be easily understandable and should contain features that help students identify the important points in the subject. A well-structured and well researched material is the crux of a good educational program as the students spend more time with this material more than anything else.
Good track record
A consistent coaching centre is thought to be a reliable one too. The older coaching centres have made it a habit to produce excellent results. When most students are placed in the top Medical colleges, it gives the teachers as well as the aspiring students the proper scale to decide upon the correct coaching institute.
Dehradun hosts many well known coaching centres for NEET. Most of the centre in it have branches all over India. Because of this the centre is very well aware about the National Proceedings regarding competitive exams like NEET. Dehradun has also given some of the best results in the past 3 years of NEET and will hopefully continue to do so in the future.
