GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is one of the main exams for admission into postgraduate programs in the IITs, NITs and IIITs and several other reputed Engineering colleges. It mainly consists of examining the students’ understanding of the Engineering subjects and whether they have acquired the acquaintance necessary to go ahead with a master’s course in the selected stream of Engineering. Syllabus and Schedule:
The exam is normally conducted in the 2nd month of the year. While there are seven mainstream subjects, many more subjects have been added over the years taking the figure to 27 in 2022.
