Syllabus and Schedule:
The exam is normally conducted in the 2nd month of the year. While there are seven mainstream subjects, many more subjects have been added over the years taking the figure to 27 in 2022. To much thrill and excitement, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Geomatics Engineering are the two new subjects added in GATE 2022. The candidate can choose one or two subjects. If two subjects are chosen, the combination needs to be one of the recommended ones.
